COACHING HISTORY: 1983-1992 St. Paul Catholic H.S. Boys Golf; overall record – 212-17-1; 2 HCC Titles, 2 NWC Titles, 2 State Runner ups 1990 & 91, 1 State Championship 1992, 4 Consecutive Pautipaug Invitational Championships 1989-1992; 2 Stigberg Memorial Championships 1991-92; 1 Chappa Memo0rial Championship, 1992; 4 All State Players. Numerous All Conference players (15-20) The only coach to defeat Don Bates of Berlin High in a head to head match. Don had over 500 wins at Berlin. I retired in 1992 and in 1993 St. Paul won another Golf Title.

Youth Soccer; I coached my first travel team when I was 15 years old. I coached a U-12 team. Started the Youth Soccer Program at the Family center in 1989. Won 2 district titles as a Coach for the Bristol Soccer Club. Won several Indoor and Outdoor Holiday Tournaments.
TIDBITS: Tournament Chairman at Chippanee Golf Club on and off for 15 years. Chippanee Men’s Club Champion 1990, defeated Dick Day; 1989 runner up, I made an 11 on Number 11.
Presently I am the President of Pequabuck Golf Club – in my second year. Past Chairman of the United Way Golf Tournament. Past Member of the Family Center BOD. |
