TELL US MORE

Bill worked either as a volunteer umpire for Little Leagues or as an umpire for pony leagues or director for pony leagues for a total of 27 years.  He had 2 articles written up for him by the Bristol Press.  He also umpired for the American Legion.  Bill did all of this because he loved the game – and he loved the kids.  The Sunday before he died, he wanted to be driven around to all the baseball fields to see who was practicing.
