YOU WERE ON 1933 All State first baseman; 1944 Tigers McCabe Waters Little League, City Champs Manager, 1958 McCabe Waters All Star team semifinals State Little League Tournament. TELL US MORE He was considered one of the best first basemen in Connecticut during the 1940s. Levy was the fifth person to hit the ball over the old fence at Muzzy field 1940 and a second time in 1948. Babe Ruth was one of the original four along with Johnny Moore, Ben Riley and Ray Alexander. Recognition Levy received in the press was a booster of business in Bristol. |
