Enveloped in McCabe Waters as coach, Treasurer and President and organized the umpires in 1949 myself included.  I managed the little league all stars in the finals in 1957 lost to Bridgeport 3-2.  I think in 1959 my Red Sox team won the Title.  I was the manager – elected in 1954 coached Celtics in city Basketball 1957-58-71 league games were at old Bristol High School.  Also junior league baseball a few years.

I played semi-pro ball with the Phantoms teammates were Tony Zagryn, Phil Alexander and Gus Lorendo.  I have no record.

I have 2 scrap books and believe I have articles in the books but neglected to put the dates so some of my activities like junior league baseball and basketball are at a loss for me to guess.  I know if I went to the Bristol press I would give you all the info but probably you should consider others with a better background.

1972 ASC appointed as speaker to interested BEHS students on Career Spring maker 1982 appointed speaker weight & measures church. McCarthy wrote article on St. Ann winning championship couched by Leone.  Appointed Park Commissioner by Mayor in 1977.  1954-55 Secretary of Bristol Bowling League; Nixon appoint Leone as director of Canvass received Bill Garrett Award at Sports Reunion in 1983.

Honored to throw out first ball at McCabe/St. Ann. A.S.C. Assoc. Spring news write-up about my activity in McCabe Waters in the 70ies.  1976 ran for city council in New Britain by the late Mike Cavalieri wrote an article in support of me running for city council.
