Co-Captain Flag Football Sportsman Café’ New Britain; Flag Football League – 4 time consecutive league champions – 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981; co-founder – Bristol Track Club; Co-sponsor – Northeast Middle School Ski Club.  I have been a teacher in the Bristol school system for thirty-four years.  I believe the school environment has enabled me to think and act younger than my age of fifty-five.  Children do keep you young.  A civic role that I enjoyed was chairman of the clowns for the Bristol Mum Parade.  I was ‘head clown’ for fourteen Mum Parades and the Bristol Bicentennial Parade.  Over the years I called on many friends to fill a great many parade-related roles.
