PARTICIPATED IN Playled in many leagues at the Bristol Boys Club playing basketball, softball, volleyball and six-man touch football. City League fast pitch softball played with Championship Teams of Bristol Brass, West End AC, Sandino Tigers, Southington P & A, Bristol Elks, Conn. Yankees, Bristol Tramps, and the Bristol All Star Tournament Team played in over thirty five leagues for County Roofing and at the age of 45 years old retired. CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS YOU WERE ON In the Army during World War II, Hawk toured with the European Championship Team in softball and was awarded the MVP Award by General Patton. Hawk was displayed in the Army newspaper and also the Bristol Press with a photograph holding a baseball glove, a baseball, softball, volleyball, baseball bat, ping pong paddle and a football. He was acknowledged as a great competitor in all these sports. Haw is married to his beautiful wife Dorothy and has a son Rick and three grandchildren. ALL-LEAGUE/ETC. YOU WERE ON Pony baseball league tournament, Bristol Boys Club, 1958, 1960, 1962 Coach All Star Team. Played for the West End. Played on the New Departure Sports Teams; coached Redmans City Amateur League; Cobras 1946 and Whalers 1946.
