February 5 – “Band-Stand!”

1959—TV Bandstand, hosted by Jim Gallant, came to the Bristol Arena (Polish Club) for dance and record hop and included one of the state’s top teenage orchestras, the proceeds went to the March of Dimes to fight polio.
